The local delivery truck means of advertising that they will be using will combine point of sale advertising with powerful visual means of the billboards. The Louisiana Sweet Potato Commission says that this advertising will be a more effective way of reaching possible customers, especially in their daily schedules. The commission will be taking to the streets to promote the consumption of their colorful tubers during these mobile advertising campaigns.

Stores in areas of Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Monroe, New Orleans, Shreveport and Lafayette will benefit from the deliveries. The delivery trucks will be making deliveries at the grocery stores’ fronts, as opposed to the usual rear loading docks to ensure point of purchase visibility.
