Los Angeles-based protein bar manufacturer Quest Nutrition recently introduced its newest product, Quest Cravings Peanut Butter Cups. Made with pure non-Dutch processed chocolate, each serving has over 20 grams of high quality protein. Additionally, the products contain no soy or sugar, sweetened instead with a blend of erythritol, monk fruit and sucralose. This enables a low total carb count of 8 grams per serving, three of which are fiber. The products are currently only available via Quest’s website with no word on whether they will eventually be sold in stores.
This is the first non-protein bar product from Quest Nutrition, who carved out a niche in the health food market with over 25 flavors of protein bars made without sugars, alcohols, artificial sweeteners, glycerine, or soy protein. The company spent years developing its recipe and conducted countless large scale taste tests to perfect its formula.
