SHORT Icelandic Skyr (Mesophilic) Heirloom Yogurt Starter CultureSkyr is an Icelandic cultured dairy product. It has the consistency of strained yogurt, but a milder flavor. Skyr is technically classified as cheese, although widely regarded as yogurt. To be classified as a soft cheese you can add optional rennet. It has been a part of Icelandic cuisine for centuries.
This Skyr does NOT have a ropey texture. It's thick and creamy.
You will receive 1 at least TEASPOON of dried cultures. These cultures were made with organic whole milk.
Cultures at room temperature.
