A prime UWS source for Kosher meats and prepared foods since 1949. Morris and Louis Fischer opened the store and were then joined by Leslie Niederman, a young Holocaust survivor.  Leslie’s son, Steve, and son-in-law, Paul Whitman run the store today.

Kashruth is our highest priority under supervision of the Orthodox Union of Rabbis. All meats are trabored, soaked and salted under the supervision of our full-time Mashgiach Temidi. All our cooked foods meet the highest Kashruth standards. Many of our home-made products are vegetarian, and our kitchen is set up for meat processing, so while consuming our vegetarian items will not make you ‘fleishig’, they should not be served with dairy plates or utensils.
