• The inspiration for Peppajoy’s all-natural gourmet guava pepper source came from US army veteran Delano, who was born in the settlement of Blue Hills, Providenciales, part of the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands, also known as the jewel of the Caribbean.
• Delano had often dreamed of his island home while serving overseas and one day hoped that he could return to the life he once knew. He returned to Turks and Caicos with the intention of joining the local police force, however it was his love for cooking that was to lead him down a very different path.
• In 2010 while eating at a local restaurant (Da Conch Shack), Delano had the inspiration to create his own hot pepper sauce. He presented the sauce to the restaurant manager the very next day who instantly expressed an intention to buy it.
• The sauce was such a big hit that Delano soon started supplying other local restaurants. Today Peppajoy sauce is sold all over the world and now available here on Amazon.
