Aliso Viejo, California based Maxim Manufacturing & Marketing has developed a new protein recovery beverage called All Natural Coco Pro Coconut Recovery with Whey Protein. Blending coconut water powder with whey protein, the powdered drink mix was designed to replenish electrolytes and repair muscles after working out. The powder contains hydrolyzed whey proteins, which have been shown to increase muscle buildup.
For optimum benefits, Coco Pro recommends consuming within 30 minutes of working out by mixing one scoop with 6 to 8 ounces of water or milk. In addition to drinking post-exercies, the drink can also be used as an appetite suppressant between meals. The product currently comes in chocolate, vanilla, and piña colada flavors.
