Come in for a taste of timeless foods! In 1946, Murray Bernstein moved down here to further dazzle Zero Mostel and other New York celebrities. They lingered or lined up in limos to get his fish and good wishes. I was always a fan and took over in 1992 to continue the tradition, while adding my own touches to our specialty menu of smoked fish and other delights.
The area’s changed, but the neighborhood relies on us for essential traditions and treats. We’re proud to serve what customers love to shop for: high quality, distinctive fish and other foods that we make in the store or have prepared to our high standards.
