   My name is George Liasis. I am the owner of the company Giorgos Olive Oil. Our company is specially dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of 100% extra virgin olive oil.
   When you choose Giorgos olive oil you are choosing a product deep in tradition, experience, and expertise of my grand father Giorgos who from 1910 produced olive oil in order to create delicious meals for his family and his friends in a small village called Exochori in Mani, Peloponesse, Greece. My grand father was inspired from the endless olives groves in Mani in order to become an olive oil producer. His passion was to produce the best quality olive oil satisfying the demands of the best cookers in the world. Therefore he cultivated himself the olives, and then pressing them very carefully in order to produce authentic flavor, pure, extra virgin olive oil. We are continuing his legend by producing only extra virgin olive oil from the same farm with the same methods as if the time has not changed.
   Our olives trees enjoy a continuous care all over the year which allows them to reach optimal size, optimal color before harvesting. We are selecting our olives one by one with old traditional methods in order to ensure that only olives ready for harvesting are used for olive oil production. After this step, our olives are placed in environmental friendly ecological sacks and within a period of one day they are transported to EU certified oil press where pure extra virgin olive oil is produced. The whole process from production until distribution is completely monitored and certified
   Moreover, our company was born for the desire of our family to preserve the real greek tradition in the greek and foreign food market. Our strategy is based on a sound corporate ethic where consumer health is our major concern. To ensure the best quality of our products we collaborate with various agricultural institutes in Greece in order to ensure adequate quality control as well as to exchange ideas for pest, weed, and disease control of our olives. We have the processes and structures necessary to support our clients locally and according to their country specific requirements. Our clients are in the core of our business. We have a characteristic way of working closely with our clients and we call it the collaborative experience.

   As a company we have decided recently not only to produce olive oil but also to sale it with our own brand name in order to preserve the quality of our own olive oil also by taking fully responsibility of our product. To do that we have applied a quality assurance system ISO2200-2005HACCP which is always written in our olive oil label. Secondly the consumer for every olive oil bottle that he buys he also takes a signed letter from the Chemistry in Greece with which we cooperate which confirms all the quality characteristics that we state in our label. So what we state in our olive oil label we really mean that.
   The potential consumer will buy top quality olive oil 100% guaranteed for the quality characteristics for instance acidity that we state in our label. Also we are certified by the Greek government for producing olive oil from areas like Messinia which produce top quality olive oil also because of the particular soil characteristics of that area. So there should be really no worries from the consumers but also from your side for the quality of our olive oil, qualities that can be tested any time by you or the consumer
   Our major goal is customer satisfaction. That’s why we prefer to have a costly but necessary quality control steps that I mentioned before in order to ensure that the customer who will buy our olive oil will buy it again and again and we will finally build a long term cooperation based on trust for our company, for our products and for the top quality that we offer.
   Furthermore, we do know that a product even if it has top quality it needs some marketing activities in order to become successful. Therefore we are making selective marketing activities like visiting United Nations store in Vienna, Austria and offering a small olive oil sample for testing purposes for free together with bread and cheese to consumers. We have also created a web page for our olive oil and we are trying to increase the traffic. Also we participation in events imposed by the international olive oil organization. But we are also open to new marketing activities that can be imposed by your side. We think that a product in order to become successful in any market, it needs the cooperation of both sides ie producer and retail seller.
   Our company has central office locations in Athens, Greece and subsidiaries in Exochori – Mani as well as in Delphi, Greece and Vienna, Austria. 80 percent of the staff of our company have university degrees. Also, an adequate number of our employees are holders of a master degree specialized in food quality control and food industry. Our company is proud for its highly motivated staff who have passion for success, and who are committed to excellence. The company is also highly sensitive in environmental issues that concern the olive oil production until the wholesale distribution of olive oil
   Finally, we produce on our farm in Mani, Peloponnese, every year more than 500 tones of extra virgin olive oil. We produce mainly two categories of olive oil: 100% extra virgin green olive oil (new product) and 100% extra virgin olive oil.
