Reckitt Benckiser, in partnership with Completely Fresh Foods, has launched a new line of frozen, fully-cooked shrimp, chicken wings and appetizers under the Frank’s RedHot brand.
Following the success of Frank’s RedHot sauces, which was ranked as the number one brand of hot sauce in America for 52 weeks, RB launched the frozen, ready-to-eat product line under the popular brand. As the company observed the increased demand for refrigerated or frozen snacks and appetizers last year, it has responded to the market by introducing these frozen, fully-cooked products and appetizers.
Frank’s RedHot Eat-and-Serve products include Buffalo Shrimp, Chicken Poppers, Buffalo Wings and Chicken Fries. All of the varieties have been cooked using the original Frank’s RedHot sauce. Now, consumers will be able to enjoy the red hot flavor of Frank’s sauce incorporated into perfectly cooked shrimp, buffalo wings or appetizers. All that needs to be done is heat it in the oven for a few minutes and then it will be ready to serve.
Josh Solovy, president of Completely Fresh Foods, stated that the company is happy to partner with Reckitt-Benckiser’s French’s Food (maker of Frank’s RedHot sauce) in creating this line of frozen, ready-to-serve food items. Solovy added that the company feels proud to use Frank’s RedHot dry spices and sauces as ingredients to be mixed in with their fully cooked meat and appetizer products. CFF’s pride in using Frank’s RedHot products comes from knowing that the ingredients and sauces have been loved by consumers since it was first introduced in 1920.
Frank’s RedHot Ready-to-Serve products are now available in the frozen food section of grocery stores nationwide. Retail price for these products is from $3.99-$4.99.
