New York-based specialty food company Balance Bar has launched two additions to its range of nutrition bars. Café, Balance Bar’s popular nutrition bar, now has two additional flavors: Chocolate Almond Biscotti and Cinnamon Bun.

The Chocolate Almond Biscotti variety has a crunchy core that is loaded with protein. The core is then drizzled with rich chocolate and finally topped with crunchy almonds for a biscotti taste that is very satisfying.

The Cinnamon Bun variety is a combination of crunchy crisps loaded with protein and toppings of cinnamon. This combination makes for an indulgent treat for consumers.

Balance Bar’s All-Natural Café range contains 14 grams of protein, as well as 23 kinds of minerals and vitamins. It is also an excellent source of the vitamin D and antioxidants. This nutrition bar follows the 40/30/30 nutrition model, which means that 40 % of calories in a bar come from healthy carbohydrates, 30% from very good quality protein and 30% from fat (dietary). These nutrition bars contain 200 calories. This range of nutrition bar is a certified kosher product.

According to Balance Bar’s Marketing Director Erin Lifeso, people who have an active daily routine go for the company’s bars because they know that Balance Bars products offer a combination of healthy nutrition, great taste, convenience and energy. Lifeso added that the two new flavors to the café range would definitely appeal to busy people who are looking for a complement to their hot beverages.

Chocolate Almond Biscotti and Cinnamon Bun Café Nutrition Bars are now available in retail stores for a retail price of $1.49 for each single-serve bar.
