Illinois-based Abbott Nutrition recently introduced its new nutrition bar in the market. ZonePerfect Nutrition Bar is sweet and salty rolled into one.

ZonePerfect Bars are available in two varieties, namely Trail Mix and Cashew Pretzel. The Trail Mix variety is a combination of raisins, toasted oats, roasted cashews, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and peanut butter. This nutrition bar variety offers the chewy sweetness of raisins and the smooth and nutty sweetness of peanut butter. The Cashew Pretzel variety is a combination of yogurt, pretzels and roasted cashews. This variety combines the sweetness of yogurt and the crispiness and saltiness of pretzels.

Each ZonePerfect bar contains 10 grams of protein, along with 19 minerals and vitamins that include potassium, sodium, calcium, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and pantothenic acid. This nutrition bar also contains antioxidants such as selenium, vitamin C and vitamin E. Each serving contains 200 calories.

ZonePerfect Bars are perfect for on the go snacking, fueling the body in the everyday business of work, school or other daily activities. Aside from providing energy, these snack bars also provide a balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat, as well as some important nutrients needed by the body.

According to Tobe Cohen, Abbott Nutrition’s Global Performance Nutrition general manner and division vice president, consumers will never have to choose between nutrition and great taste when it comes to ZonePerfect bars. This is because it simply offers both.

Sweet and Salty ZonePerfect Bars are now available nationwide, with a selling price of $1.25 a piece or $5.99 for a pack of five bars.
