Popular rice brand Rice-A-Roni recently launched a new line of single-serving, microwavable rice cups. These new cups were designed to be quick and easy meal options, specifically for those on the go. Consumers need only add water and microwave for 3 1/2 minutes and a delicious snack or meal will be ready.
Made with a unique blend of tender long grain rice, toasted vermicelli and other grains, the new product comes in three flavors: Chicken, Creamy Four Cheese, and Cheddar Broccoli. Tanya Haladner, director of marketing at Rice-A-Roni, said in a statement “Rice-A-Roni has been providing families great-tasting and convenient meal-time solutions for more than 50 years.” Haladner added “we are always looking to develop new products that deliver unmatched taste, quality and convenience that meet our consumers’ needs.”
Founded in 1958, Rice-A-Roni is a brand of the Quaker Oats Company, which is a subsidiary of PepsiCo. Their line of products includes a wide range of boxed rice and pasta in a variety of flavors.
