Certified Ontario Beef is a privately owned Canadian meat processing company engaged primarily in the processing of beef products.
History
Certified Ontario Beef is composed and owned by expert beef producers who have partnered with other companies in the beef industry in order to achieve a controlled-production chain based on their model of controlled input.
Certified Ontario Beef, or COB, pledges to never change or adapt its one hundred percent Source Verification Production methods in order to suit any player in the industry. The company also promises to meet its end consumers’ demands for a meat product that is verified to be safe.
COB’s vision is to plan, make, and deliver a healthy, certified safe and natural beef product based on the company’s controlled input. The company promises to maintain practices that produce only excellent quality beef products. The company depends on top beef makers in Ontario for supplying lean, tender, healthy and tasty natural beef. To ensure the safety of its products, COB does not allow non-partner businesses sources to supply them with beef. The company also uses the most advanced technology available in order to improve their standards in safety, efficiency and methods and is committed to continuing to look for new technologies that will help them improve their products and processes.
In all of its processes and operations, COB follows the “Point Production Value Chain,” or PPVC. PPVC is composed of genetics, industrial production chain, logistics and information technology, processing, and end delivery. With PPVC, the company is able to implement strict processes, starting from the genetics component up through final delivery. With beef that has gone through this system, consumers are assured that a COB beef product is free from unknown substances, or hormones that are commonly given to calves in order to speed up growth and help them resist diseases.
COB has partnered with prominent organizations in the beef industry such as the CIP IPP (Certified Industrial Production Initial Production Partners), CG IPP (Certified Genetics Initial Production Partners) and the CCIA. These partnerships make it possible for COB to achieve its goal of providing beef products that are guaranteed safe for consumption. The company’s beef products are distributed directly to its customers as well as marketed in different retail food stores under the label Certified Ontario Beef.

WHAT FIELD?
To the person in charge:
I think it’s time for your stores to go organic grass fed beef, pork and poultry ? I say this because as far as i’m concerned , MARKET BASKET is the store of choice for most of the people in Fitchburg, MA and the towns nearby.
MARKET BASKET has alway been a leader in our community with up to date clean stores and polite personal .
I’m hoping that you and your management teams will consider this recommendation?
Respectfully,
Jos. m. Pirani
